Cosa Piora Corp. establishes and discloses the Korea Privacy Policy as follows to protect all personal information in accordance with Article 27-2 of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act (the “PIPA”) and other relevant laws and regulations. Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)

Cosa Piora processes personal information for the following reasons.
Manage members and subscriptions
Registration and manage accounts of all customers
Maintain and manage membership qualifications
Identify and verify customers
Restrict registration or subscription by children under 16 years

Article 2 (Method of Collection and Type of Personal Information)

Cosa Piora collects and processes the following personal information.

Article 3 (Period of Retention and Processing of Personal Information)

Cosa Piora collects, processes, and retains personal information within by a prescribed period of retention and use, or within the period consented by the customer at the time of collecting the personal information (Registration and Subscription).
Registered member
Deletion of the account by members
All personal information is discarded upon the customer's withdrawal without delays or when the purpose of collection is completed.
Long-term inactive members: If the member does not login for one (1) year or longer, under special circumstances, such member's personal information will be managed separately under the relevant laws and regulations.
Provision of goods and services
Completion of supply of goods and services
Agreements, settlements, and payments of such goods and services
Processing and completion of record-keeping purposes under the relevant laws and regulations

Article 4 (Providing Personal Information to Third Parties)

Personal information of customers is only processed under Article 1 (Purposes of Processing Personal Information and Items of Personal Information to be Processed), and collected information is provided to third parties only under Article 17 (Provision of Personal Information). In particular, (1) where the consent is obtained from the data subject, (2) where special provision exists in-laws or it is inevitable to observe legal obligations.

Cosa Piora provides its associates (Partnership, Joint Venture, Collaboration, etc.) with personal information that is collected during the period until the customers permanently delete their account, for purposes such as (1) transactions records that are required to be retained for record-keeping purposes, (2) analysis of purchase patterns and preferences to enhance the development of product and services for key customers (3) optimize and improve our product and services or any other matters that would enhance the customer experience, (4) customized services to inform customers of products, services, and events.

If Cosa Piora enters an outsourcing agreement, Cosa Piora will be obligated to provide materials related with liabilities regarding the prevention of personal information processing for other purposes than the outsourced purpose, technical and managerial measures and safeguards, and any other matters that would manage personal information safely, to ensure the security of personal information, contractual restrictions and responsibilities, safe management and supervision, proper compensation for any damages under the Article 26 (Limitation to Personal Information Processing Subsequent to Outsourcing of Work) of the PIPA.

When there is a modification in the outsourcer or content of outsourcing services, Cosa Piora will disclose all modifications made through our website under this Korea Privacy Policy.

Article 5 (Exercises Rights of the Subject of Personal Information)

Customers or the subject of personal information may exercise the rights to protect their personal information against Cosa Piora at any given time.
Request direct access to personal information
Request correction of any errors or inaccuracies
Request deletion of personal information or any other related information
Request discontinuance or suspension on processing personal information

Rights under Article 1 may be exercised through Customer Service (customerservice@cosapiora.com). Cosa Piora will immediately take actions once the identity of the customer is verified and confirmed. Under certain circumstances, Cosa Piora may refuse or reject such a request in the event when there is a justifiable reason under the laws and regulations.

Rights under Article 2 may be exercised when the customer request corrections or deletion of any errors, etc. in their personal information, Cosa Piora will immediately take action to complete the request in accordance with the procedures and in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

Customers or the subject of personal information must not infringe upon personal information or self-privacy or any third party in violation of the relevant laws and regulations.

Cosa Piora does not collect any personal information of anyone under the age of 16 years (“Children”). However, if it is necessary to collect personal information of children, only under special situations, Cosa Piora complies with the relevant legislation concerning the rights and obligations of legal representatives.

Article 6 (Destruction of Personal Information)

Cosa Piora will destroy all personal information at the expiration of the retention period, or when the purpose is achieved and processing such information is no longer necessary.

Notwithstanding the expiration of the retention period consented by the customer, or achieved of the purpose, if the information requires a longer period to be retained or used under other laws and regulations, such information will be transferred and managed separately in a different database only for a certain period. Segregated personal information will only be used for retention unless provided otherwise.
Destruction Procedure
Personal information that is required to be destructed will be reviewed and approved by the Data Protection Officer. Destruction will immediately be initiated once approved.
Destruction Method
Personal information that is stored electronically will be deleted by a technical method which will allow the information to be irrecoverable. All personal information that is on hard copies will be destroyed by shredding or incineration.

Article 7 (Security Measures for Personal Information)

To ensure the security of processing personal information, Cosa Piora takes various technical and managerial actions to prevent any loss, theft, leakage, exposure, or damages of personal information in the process of processing the information. This includes encryption of the password, exclusive protection or counter measurements for hacking or viruses, and minimization or restriction of rights of the employees directly handling personal information.

Cosa Piora is responsible for general matters relating to the processing of personal information (” Data”) and has designated the following Data Protection Officer to handle and inspect all inquiries in relation to the processing of personal information.
